A legal review system — not an open AI chat

LexActa.Cloud is a legal review system with structured workflows that can be customized to your firm's own method. The tool traces information back to its source, tests conclusions against the record, and summarizes discrepancies in a work product the attorney reviews and judges.

Not an open AI chat

LexActa doesn't require every user to build their own prompts or start from scratch on each matter. Each reviewer follows a predefined workflow for the relevant practice area.

Frequently asked questions

Is LexActa.Cloud an AI chat like ChatGPT or Claude?

No. LexActa.Cloud is a legal review system with structured workflows. It isn't about open-ended prompting — each reviewer follows a fixed workflow for its practice area, and the firm can define its own legal authorities, review questions, document structure, and quality standards, which are reused in every matter.

What can our firm customize in the tool?

Firms can define which statutes and case law to weigh, which interpretive principles to apply, which questions must always be reviewed, how facts and conclusions are traced back to their source, and how filings should be organized and worded. LexActa then applies that same defined method to every new matter.

Is the tool limited to certain practice areas?

No. LexActa isn't locked to specific practice areas — a reviewer for a new practice area can be configured in about 20 minutes using the firm's own method, authorities, and document standards. Child protection matters (for example under New Hampshire RSA 169-C, DCYF cases in Circuit Court – Family Division) and criminal defense matters exist as ready-made examples in our guides.

How is confidential or sensitive material handled?

Specific terms for handling case material are agreed in writing before the tool is used on live matters. Our Security page lists the questions we walk through at kickoff.

Does the tool replace the attorney's own judgment?

No. LexActa.Cloud delivers a structured work product for the attorney's own review, not an automated legal conclusion. The legal judgment is always made by the responsible attorney.
